Associate of Applied Science - Transfer Degree (AAS-T)

The Associate of Applied Science - Transfer (AAS-T) degree in Allied Health helps students advance their education and career training in the healthcare field.

This degree is for many types of students: students who have already earned a healthcare certificate and want career advancement; students who are interested in starting a career in healthcare through a dual degree program; and students who are planning to pursue a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree program in Community Health & Education or Healthcare Services Management.

Students will develop a rounded education in the health sciences while learning to deliver healthcare as part of a team and improving communication and patient advocacy skills.

Students will complete 90 credits of coursework, earning an Associate of Applied Science - Transfer (AAS-T) degree in Allied Health. Completing this program prepares graduates for quick entry into a variety of high-demand healthcare careers or to transfer into an applied bachelor's degree (BAS) program to continue their education.

  • Hybrid
  • Hybrid courses provide students with the scheduling flexibility of fewer campus visits while covering the same materials as an equivalent class held entirely on campus. Hybrid classes usually have at least one on-campus meeting per week combined with a "virtual classroom" with online content, lessons and activities.
