About the Program

We operate a hybrid Nursing Assistant Program through Seattle Central Campus. Theory is offered remotely, with lab operations located at the South Seattle College Campus. Sites in the Seattle area vary for the clinical course component which occurs at the end of the quarter.

In just one quarter, Seattle Central College's Certified Nursing Assistant (NAC or CNA) program prepares you for entry-level positions in a variety of healthcare settings. This program will give you the training you need to start a career in the nursing field and help you to take the next step in your nursing education.

Certification as a Nursing Assistant will provide knowledge and skills for a professional career in healthcare and in the following areas:

  • Medical terminology
